Testing of Packaging and Use of Attractants to Control Fruit Flies(Bactrocera dorsalis Hendel) Guava (Psidium guajava L.)

The aims of this study to determine: effect kinds attractants and time wrapping on control percentage fruit fly attacks which determined the guava quality. This research was conducted in Durin Jangak Village, Pancur Batu District, Deli Serdang Regency from May July 2019. using a randomized block design method with three factors: time, wrapping, attractant. result showed that treatment by white plastic attractant traps obtained highest diameter is 10.23 cm lowest no packaging without 7.40 cm. In weight 586 grams 165 grams. At observation trapped flies were 961 treatments 790 flies. traps,wrapping gauze attack, namely 100% consist 33%.
